Losbeschreibung: 1788 Connecticut Copper. Miller 2-D, W-4405. Rarity-1. Mailed Bust Right. VF-30 (PCGS). 120.5 grains. Uniform dark chocolate brown with subtle traces of pale blue when turned in the light. Evenly microporous throughout with only a few scattered tiny pits. A fairly good quality planchet with just a few small flaws, most notably at the effigy’s shoulder and right of the neck. Slightly weak at the left border, affecting both sides, but the legends are easily discernible. Well centered on a tight flan.
