Lot Description

1849/8 Liberty Seated Half Dime. V-2, FS-302. MS-64 (NGC). Bright silver with flecks of iridescent blue and gold near the rims, and satiny throughout. The strike is sharp, with the overdate feature clear with a loupe when examined. Scarce in high grades, especially so on the cusp of a Gem grade and with such an illustrious pedigree. PCGS# 4343.
