1897 Morgan Silver Dollar. VAM-8. Hot 50 Variety. Doubled Die Obverse, Stars. MS-65 (NGC). Bright and lustrous with no signs of toning and a bold strike. The stars are slightly doubled on the obverse, and this variety is tough to find. NGC has seen just three at this level with none seen finer of this issue. Blazing white luster throughout and a coin that is well preserved with minimal signs of handling. NGC Census: 3; none finer within the VAM-8 DDO Stars designation. PCGS# 134023.
