- Breen Die State III. Steely olive-brown patina dominates on both sides of this handsome large cent, although faded mint orange color persists in the protected areas around some of the design elements, most notably the letters along the upper obverse border. Handling marks are minimal on hard, frosty surfaces that also show some nice gloss. The borders are thin in areas, but both sides are generally well struck with plenty of bold to sharp detail remaining. A nice EF by EAC grading standards, the PCGS grade of AU-58 is also desirable in the certified market.
