1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-2a. Rarity-3. Lettered Edge, Punctuated Date. VF-35 (PCGS). A lovely mid-grade example of this popular issue with dark espresso-brown patina across each side. Uniformly bold throughout all regions, with notable sharpness to Liberty's profile and the eponymous "punctuation" in the date. Just minor old marks are apparent under scrutiny, including two round digs beneath the T of Liberty. Fitting for both half cent specialists and type collectors. PCGS# 1015.
