1762-A French Colonies Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-46a. Rarity-7. Second Semester. AU-53 (PCGS). 34.5 grains. A scarce issue, and expert Robert Vlack stated that he had only seen three to five examples. This piece retains much of its original silvering, while the fields exhibit lovely accents of rose. A well detailed survivor, free of any noticeable surface marks or damage.
