- 144.5 grains. Another better than usual example of this variety, cherished by collectors for its use of the first Fugio obverse, whose distinctive cross or quatrefoil after the date and the fine crosshatching in MIND YOUR BUSINESS make this a type all its own. Light olive-brown with a pleasing appearance. Some handling is seen, just a few trivial marks and fine scratches. A low spot in the planchet below 3 o'clock on the obverse periphery has toned a bit darker than elsewhere, and a little lamination is noted in the 7 o'clock ring on the reverse. The strike is good, and both sets of the usual die clashes are visible on both sides. An appealing example for collectors of all levels of experience and enthusiasm.
