A lovely Gem exhibiting sharp, frosty devices and nicely mirrored fields. Both sides exhibit original intermingled gold, gray and violet toning. A mere 1,097 trade dollars were coined during the year, all Proofs made to accommodate numismatic demand. The presently offered specimen ranks among the finest survivors of the issue, both technically and aesthetically. We expect many generous bids.
