What a gloriously toned SUPERB 1903 cent. The SOLE FINEST in the RB classification at PCGS. Based on the rings of deeper red at the rims, lightening to the original fiery golden-orange red in the centers, this coin was most likely housed in an ancient album for storage before certification. There is NO BROWN at all on this coin, we call it variegated RED, with iridescent green and gold accents that come to the fore with the brilliant red luster. The eye appeal is excellent in every possible way. PCGS 5, NGC 12, CAC 2. This the ONLY one graded in MS66+ RB. Unpriced in the PCGS Price Guide, this coin will no doubt break a record for the designation when it crosses the block, as this one is more visually alluring than some of those graded MS66 RD we have seen cross the block in auction.
