FROM THE UNFORGETTABLE COLLECTION An exceptional Stone Mountain half dollar. Virtually pristine surfaces have a bold luster that glows with a vivacity and brilliance atypical of the type. Sharply struck devices stand out through blushes and splashes of original iridescent toning. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 385, NGC 216, CAC 143. There are 55 in MS67+ at PCGS, and a mere 8 coins graded finer. We sold the most recent example for $2,468 in September 2021. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,600.
