Only 392,000 were struck of this short lived subtype. With all the silver flooding the market from Nevada, the weight of silver coins were ever so slightly increased, and the change was noted by arrows placed on either side of the date. A pale champagne iridescence adds depth and character to the eye appeal. Sharply struck and devoid of any serious contact or other marks of any kind. The eye appeal is pleasing. PCGS 49, NGC 36. Four examples sold in 2020 (the most recent APRs), bringing from $2,400 to $2,880 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $4,000. This GEM will fit nicely in a type set. Good luck. Cert.
