Lot Description
1862 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. OC-1. Rarity-3. VF-30 (PCGS). Really a nice example in a non-CAC Liberty Seated dollar. Warmly toned in golden-gray, both sides reveal bolder highlights in the protected areas around some of the devices. Well defined for the grade with faint traces of luster persisting in the fields. This is a scarce and eagerly sought Civil War issue of which only 11,540 pieces were coined. Provenance: From the Collection of James Allaire Millholland, 1842-1911.
