Lot Description
THE PERFECTION COLLECTION OF CAPPED BUST QUARTERS Well within the Rea-Koenings-Haroutunian Census for the B-1 die marriage, this coin is certainly quite pleasing for the MS62 grade. Production of the quarter dropped by nearly 50% from previous years, with only 64,080 struck. Vibrantly lustrous surfaces have a pearlescent, antique silver sheen throughout. Generally well struck with crisply defined devices on both sides, this coin has a bold definition on both sides. A strong glass reveals some tiny old lines and a tick or two visible only with the aid of a strong glass. Housed in an older generation PCGS blue tag holder. The eye appeal is pleasing overall and this coin will certainly delight any collector. PCGS 8, NGC 4. None have sold in ages, the last non-CAC-approved example sold in the 2017 FUN Auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $10,000. Just a dozen examples are graded higher at PCGS, and are VERY RARELY offered! Do not let this opportunity pass you by! Worthy of a truly CHOICE set. Cert. Number 21437708 PCGS # 5332
