A lovely representative of this challenging strike and condition rarity that is one of the two finest certified survivors of the issue. The surfaces are exceptionally lustrous and untroubled by blemishes, exhibiting delicate champagne-pink iridescence to an otherwise bright silver appearance. While the 1959 is not in the same league as the legendary strike rarity Jefferson nickels from the 1960s, this dazzling Superb Gem is among the very best produced and preserved for the issue and will have no difficulty finding its way into a top flight collection on the NGC Registry.
