Lot Description

Warm, even, olive-gray patina blankets both sides of this boldly defined and overall smooth example. Accuracy alone compels us to mention a few shallow digs in and around the central reverse. A prized short-lived type issue that is virtually unobtainable for most collectors when dated 1794, and difficult enough to find well preserved when dated 1795. This example is impressive for the grade assigned and should please most specialists who desire one for their collections. BB Die State II.
