140.4 gains. A remarkable second offering for this rare and normally elusive variety from the Richard August Collection, this VF makes up in surface quality what it lacks in detail. For while the certified grade is typical for a Large Head Nova Eborac, the texture is remarkably smooth and problem free. Somewhat glossy medium golden-brown overall. The obverse is fairly well-centered, border tight to the tops of EBORAC, swelling in the field below that word, tiny rim cuts seen at the 12 o'clock position under low magnification, as is a natural planchet flaw, as struck, at OV of NOVA. The reverse is evenly centered and free of reportable marks. An amply pleasing example that will see spirited bidding.
