Lot Description

1805 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-2. Rarity-6-. Small 5, Stems. Fine-12 (PCGS). The glossy deep chestnut-brown surfaces are choice for the grade despite the prolonged stay in circulation, and few marks of any measure are present to the naked eye. The devices are bolder than one might assume for the given grade, another "plus" for its next steward. The Small 5, Stems variety offered here is among the scarcest varieties of the era and design type. Strong bidding competition is in order for this half cent. PCGS# 35182.
