1920-D Standing Liberty Quarter. MS-64 FH (NGC). This semi key date Standing Liberty quarter is moderately toned in pearl gray and reddish-gold iridescence, most vivid at the peripheries. It is lustrous, overall smooth, and has a well executed strike. The 1920-D has a smaller mintage by the standards of its type (3,586,400 pieces), and only a small percentage of Mint State survivors display enough detail to qualify for a Full Head designation by today's grading standards.
