Representing the scarcest date in the 1941 to 1947 "short set" in high grade, this is an exceptionally well preserved example that ranks among the higher graded examples seen at PCGS. Satiny smooth, vibrantly lustrous surfaces are dusted with a hint of peripheral toning that accents the sharply struck devices. Due to the rarity in MS-67 grades, we suspect the PCGS Population Report shows some duplication of submissions in hopes of attaining that grade. This high end example is worthy of placement in any top tier set.<p><p><p>
