1892-S Barber Dime. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. A frosty, satiny specimen with highly lustrous, essentially brilliant surfaces. Just a tiny bit of pale golden color can be discerned on each side. A lovely example of the date, and a coin of virtual Gem quality. The 1892-S issue is the premier issue of the type and the first of 14 dates within the Barber dime series to display a mintage of less than one million pieces, in this case, 990,710 pieces.
