1838 Modified Matron Head Cent. N-1. Rarity-1. MS-65 BN (PCGS). CAC. An impressive Gem with highly lustrous surfaces evenly toned to medium brown with bold traces of mint red clinging to many of the details. A handful of tiny carbon spots are not of any real concern and there are no distracting marks. Rim crumbling seen on the obverse. Exceptional quality and eye appeal.
