Alfy Keller Collection. An obstacle that sometimes presents itself in pursuit of a three-legged nickel is the question of original surface, but no such question needs to be asked with regard to the wonderful quality on display here. The gorgeous pewter and stone-grey surface features delicate butterscotch overtones in keeping with a vintage example. An unexpected bonus for the XF-45 grade, tinges of luster may still be seen percolating within the fields.
