Lot Description

A lovely and original GEM example. Well struck and frosty with a glowing satiny sheen throughout. A dusting of pearly-silver and olive-slate-tan hues on the obverse and generally untoned on the reverse. The eye appeal is quite nice. PCGS 58, NGC 8. We sold the last two for $969 in our August and October 2020 Regency Auctions and the Collectors Universe value is listed at $1,750. Just 14 are graded finer, so anyone building a set may be hard pressed to find a finer example. Cert. Number 32684307 PCGS # 86663.00
