FROM THE CULLEN B COLLECTION A very scarce Top 100, one of the most popular VAMs out there, named by the bulge in a die crack off the D in dollar that looks like a tail. This lustrous AU58 is in the condition census for the variety, per PCGS CoinFacts. For the variety, PCGS has graded just 15 in AU58 with less than 20 finer. No PCGS/CAC Donkey Tail has ever sold in auction, but NGC/CAC pieces have sold between $456 and $1,176. We think this PCGS-graded example will be worthy of a bid toward the higher end of that range.
