1798 Draped Bust Cent. S-166. Rarity-1. Style II Hair. EF-40 (PCGS). Satiny golden-olive surfaces are a bit softly defined at the base of Liberty's bust and near the upper reverse border, yet sharp elsewhere. A few dull marks are scattered about but in general we see only wispy handling marks that are easily overlooked. Breen Die State IV. The PCGS insert uses the incorrect coin #1435, which is for the 1798 Style II Hair cent in the RB category. PCGS# 1434. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
