1835 Classic Head Half Eagle. HM-8. Rarity-3+. AU-53 (PCGS). A fully original piece with glints of pinkish-apricot on otherwise golden-olive surfaces. More than 371,000 half eagles were struck in 1835 and circulated as workhorse coins for years.
