1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. Heraldic Eagle. B-24, BB-124. Rarity-2. BB Die State II. Pointed 9, Wide Date. AU-55 (PCGS). Secure Holder. Frosty silver surfaces exhibit warm gold and pale gray iridescence. A high degree of retained luster adds greatly to the overall charm. Surfaces unsullied by marks to the unassisted eye, and a glass reveals no marks worthy of reporting in print. The strike is sharp throughout and the eye appeal and overall physical quality are substantial. A truly choice representative of the grade and design type. PCGS# 40041.
