Lot Description

A lovely GEM with a bold golden-tan coloration and snazzy luster that glows brilliantly in the fields, accenting the sharply struck up devices. The eye appeal is very high end. PCGS 184, NGC 123, CAC 68. There are half a dozen graded MS65+ at PCGS and the last two brought $1,320 and $1,410 (the most recent in September 2018) and the current PCGS value is listed at $1,800. Scarce finer, this is the last year of the Copper-Nickel Indian Head cent series, before the mint switched to a bronze alloy. Cert. Number 38464252 PCGS # 2070.00
