Lot 705 1840 N-6 R1 Large Date Repunched 40 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved.Lustrous medium steel brown with faded mint red showing in the protected areas on both sides. No notable marks other than a tiny planchet flake off the upper right point of star 12 that can help identify this cent. M-LDS, die state c. The repunching on the 40 is weak but visible. A nice cent.
