- 1868 Pattern Gold Dollar. Judd-653, Pollock-726. Rarity-7-. Proof-65 (NGC). The obverse and reverse are the regular dies of the Gold dollar. Splendid reflective fields and frosted devices, with all devices boldly struck. Mostly bright with a touch of haze and a few tiny dark specks on the obverse. There are perhaps six to ten of these in existence, and this is certainly one of the finer examples to come down to us today.<br />
