Lot Description

A truly brilliant GEM Proof! Intensely brilliant mirrors are watery and highly reflective, watery surfaces. Blazing, mostly untoned surfaces show just a faint blush of clear gold at the peripheries. There is a microscopic patch of lines in the field, which is all that keeps this coin from a fully SUPERB grade. Only 675 Proofs were struck. PCGS 22, NGC 35. The most recent example sold for $2,500 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,350. Just 15 are graded in the non-CAM designation. A wonderful GEM. Cert. Number 25246433 PCGS # 6553
