Lot Description

1866 Liberty Seated Half Dime. VF-30 (PCGS). Deep steel gray with lilac highlights. Solid in appearance to the unassisted eye. One of only 10,000 circulation strikes produced for the date, that figure representing one of the smallest production runs in the design type. Far scarcer than its San Francisco Mint counterpart of the year.
