WOW! What a magnificently beautiful GEM Proof Trade dollar! This date was struck for The highly reflective mirrors are deep and watery with a bold flash. They are also very clean and free of any distractions. In a light the mirrors really help to bring out the variegated amber, gold, and teal-azure toning. The devices are sharply struck and stand out against smooth, icy mirrored fields. This totally original GEM coin has a superb visual allure that is wonderfully high end! PCGS 43, NGC 45, CAC 12. There are just three in PR65+ at PCGS. RARE finer. We had the honor of selling the last three examples in the $7,050 to $9,694 range and the current PCGS price guide at $8,000 is about average.
