1872 Indian Cent. Bold N. MS-65+ BN (NGC). CAC. Light lilac-brown patina flows over surfaces that retain appreciable mint orange color in the more protected areas of the design. A bit lightly struck at the right reverse periphery, pretty typical of the issue, yet with pleasingly sharp detail elsewhere. This early date bronze Indian cent issue is a noteworthy condition rarity in the finest Mint State grades, especially when some mint color persists, as here.
