Lot Description

This is a remarkably high end quality GEM and is the SOLE FINEST graded coin in the Red/Brown designation, and is certainly much closer to the RED classification than the Brown. A bold, radiant luster beams along both sides accenting the totally original red that is just beginning to mellow, giving this GEM a stunning look. VERY RARE with such a large amount of original red. PCGS 8, NGC 19, CAC 5. This is the coin that sold in our May 2018 Regency Auction for $4,583 on an estimate of $3,200-$3,500. The current PCGS value is listed at $5,500.
