- 1871 Octagonal 25 Cents. BG-715. Rarity-6-. Liberty Head. MS-65 (PCGS). Pronounced olive-green surfaces are seen on this well struck and undisturbed Gem. The reverse legends display myriad tiny die cracks, these being diagnostic for the issue. Much scarcer than BG-714, which shares the same obverse die.
