Lot Description

Abundant brassy-olive remains on surfaces that retain much of the faded down mint color. Toning is light, well blended, and attractively original in tobacco-brown. There are no troubling marks, spots or other post-production blemishes, while pitting in the planchet (as made) is extremely minor and not evident during in hand viewing. A crisp strike and softly frosted texture further identify this as a coin for Mint State colonial type collectors to pursue with vigor.
