Lot Description

1902 Barber Quarter. Proof-65 (NGC). The obverse is simply gorgeous, what with vivid target-like toning in cobalt-blue, olive-gold, medium-copper, powder-blue and pinkish-apricot colors. The reverse is much lighter and generally untoned, although it does reveal cobalt-blue iridescence around the periphery. Well mirrored in the fields, with a slight satiny texture to the devices.
