- 1828 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-116. Rarity-2. Square Base 2, Small 8s, Large Letters. MS-61 (PCGS). A truly remarkable example with superior quality and eye appeal for the assigned grade. The faintest traces of friction are noted but the surfaces remain free of distracting hairlines or significant abrasions. Sharply defined and frosted in uniform satiny luster.
