1830 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-117. Rarity-2. Small 0. MS-62 (NGC). The essentially brilliant surfaces display a bit of silver-gray patina as the coin is turned under a light. This is a somewhat later die state with an overall softness to the detail and some evidence of die swelling (as made) in the fields, but the lack of appreciable rub means that the major devices till present as suitably bold.
