1906-O Barber Dime. MS-65 (NGC). As the most readily obtainable New Orleans Mint Barber dime in Gem Mint State (per Jeff Ambio, <em>Collecting & Investing Strategies for Barber Dimes</em>, 2009), the 1906-O is a popular issue for mintmarked type purposes. Brilliant and lustrous, this satin-white survivor is also devoid of troublesome abrasions. Sharply defined throughout as befits the issue, although this is an uncommon attribute by the standards of the O-mint Barber dime series as a whole.
