68.8 grains. Engaging deep pewter-olive surfaces also show strong underlying blue-gray, left obverse periphery with a splash of reddish-russet. Obverse off center to 12 o'clock with more or less softness along the upper border, the reverse is further off center to 7 o'clock with the border well into the letters DO NEW. The remaining peripheral letters on both sides are legible despite minor softness in areas, centers bold for the grade with just a touch of softness to the top of the tree and the adjacent beads. The surfaces are smooth in hand, fully original in preservation, good gloss - a handsome and inviting Small Planchet Pine Tree at the VF grade level.
