- 1724 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny. Martin 4.51-K.4, W-13690. Rarity-2. MS-64 RB (PCGS). 74.08 grains. A satiny orange-rose specimen with bold luster and significant eye appeal. The strike is about typical for the issue with some lightness of details at the very center on each side. An obverse toning area is seen in the field at 1 o'clock, otherwise no marks or blemishes of any magnitude are noted, reverse with some scattered toning areas, again, nothing of major importance or apt to discourage a potential bidder. The present beauty is <em><strong>among the</strong></em> <em style="font-weight: bold;">three finest RB examples of the issue certified by PCGS. </em>Choice for the grade.
