Lot Description

We unhesitatingly call this coin a GEM AU. The surfaces are amazingly clean and have faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors near the devices. We used a strong glass to look around with and found zero impairments. Both sides have a deeper gold color with NO spots or discolorations. This coin clearly was never messed with (unlike so many others). Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck. All wear is light and even. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 19, NGC 14, CAC 1. Since 2004 only 5 examples have ever crossed the auction block-NONE were CAC! The current Collector’s Universe Value is only $3,700; we think it should be more like $4,000-$4,500.
