CAC.Nice mint red with slow natural fading to teal and fiery gold in the fields. The strike is full and sharp, as expected for a Proof issue. This is the normal quarter dollar dies used to stirke a pattern, in this case in copper instead of silver. Only a modest number were struck in copper and survive, and this is tied for tops in the grading world. Exceptional quality and highly appealing. Pop 2; tied for the finest examples graded at both services.(PCGS # 70802) Estimated Value $6,000 - UP
