1793 S-3. Rarity-3-. Chain. FINE DETAILS (NGC). "Corrosion, Improperly Cleaned." Reddish brown surfaces. Light porosity on the high points becomes somewhat heavier in the fields. Most of the major details of Liberty's portrait are clear. LIBERTY is faint, albeit easily read, and the date is clear. On the reverse the Chain is sharp and the denomination ONE CENT is faint in areas, but easily read. The fraction is mostly obliterated. The legend is readable, but very faint.
