1917-S Standing Liberty Quarter. Type I. MS-67 (PCGS). Among the finest known and best preserved for this second-year SLQ issue, both sides are bathed in extremely vibrant, frosty-textured luster. There is not even a single distracting abrasion to report, and an overall sharp strike is just shy of Full Head distinction. Pinkish-silver iridescence to the obverse, the reverse is untoned save for a crescent of rich russet patina around much of the border. Superb!
