THE CENTRAL ILLINOIS HOARD OF RATTLERS A choice quality 1913 eagle. Sharply struck and satiny lustrous with bright golden brilliance. A glass reveals some traces of the most minor contact, but the eye appeal is unaffected and is very high end for the modest grade assigned ages ago, and is likely undergraded by today's standards. PCGS 2,787, NGC 2,281, CAC 33. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $1,750 and the CAC CPG $1,770. The last PCGS/CAC example sold back in October 2017! Clearly these do not appear with frequency.
