Fully struck with a silky smooth texture, this frosty and expertly preserved example borders on pristine. The final Philadelphia Mint Indian cent, and a popular issue for type purposes, the 1909 has a circulation strike mintage of 14,368,470 pieces. With many examples saved at the time of issue, this issue is plentiful in lower Mint State grades.
