1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-115. Rarity-5-. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC. This is a fully original, handsomely toned example of a scarce Capped Bust half dollar die marriage. Boldly to sharply defined over most design elements, as well, with a smooth and inviting appearance that includes much of the original satin luster. Early die state with no evidence of an obverse crack through the stars on the left. An impressive and significant piece that is just shy of Condition Census for the challenging 1826 O-115 dies.
